Athenaïs is a French producer and founder of Coucou Records: a label and collective fostering creative experimentation and open-genre music.
“Club Coucou” event series held in Berlin's unique church Genezarethkirche merges the atmosphere of a club with the intimacy of a living room through a curation of live acts and bands. Athenaïs invites artists of all disciplines to collaborate, nurturing a community that offers immersive experiences for music and culture enthusiasts.
As a singer and musician, Athenaïs captivates audiences with bewitching vocals, harmoniously fusing 80s synths, poetic French lyricism, field recordings of nature and improvised melodies. Inspired by genres like New Wave, Synth-Pop, Dark Disco, Trip-hop and Psychedelic Rock, she blends electronic and acoustic elements to create an hypnotic soundscape.
Athenaïs gained recognition through her eclectic debut album "Codes Lumière" that send her off to perform as a support act for Kerala Dust as well as at renowned festivals like Fusion, Dockville, Garbicz and esteemed clubs like Sisyphos, Katerblau, Ritter Butzke and Departamento (Mexico).
Currently, Athenaïs is crafting a new album and collaborating with the Mexican producer Jiony, teasing tracks during her live sets.
